The Amy Biehl story inspiring a new major motion picture: ‘The Year Of The Great Storm’
By Presenter Tanya Nefdt from eNCA - Cape Town

The Spotlight | Amy Biehl film | 8 September

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the death of American anti-apartheid activist, Amy Biehl. She was killed by a mob in Gugulethu, Cape Town, on the 25th of August in 1993.

Now a movie about her death is in the making, with production to start early next year. We had the honor of chatting to her family and the filmmakers behind the movie.
