in ensuring a permanent home and great future for The Amy Biehl High School in Albuquerque. This is very appropriate in continuing Amy's legacy.

"Amy Biehl High School now has a permanent home, and I am proud to have played a role in passing legislation to allow for the purchase of the old Downtown Post Office. I was touched to hear Amy’s mother, Linda Biehl, talk this evening about her daughter’s selflessness and her commitment to the victims of apartheid in South Africa. I’m grateful that we have a school in our community that reflects the spirit and activism of someone like Amy Biehl. We are all better off, as a result."
